BREAKING NEWS
A bomb attack at a Shia mosque in the southwest Saudi city of Najran has killed at least one with a dozen others injured according to the BBC.
The report said Daesh (ISIS) claimed responsibility for backing the attack which may have been carried out by a suicide bomber. BBC said an Islamic State media posting claimed the attack targeted “rejectionist Ismailis” referring to a Shia Islam branch.
In August a bomb attack was launched against a mosque in Abha during noon prayer hour targeting security forces that left ten officers and three workers dead. There were also bomb attacks against mosques in the Eastern Province, Dammam and Qatif, and an attack by a Saudi bomber in Kuwait. The attacks were attributed to ISIS militants.
